Ham AM activity on 15 meters! 2120 UTC 13 OCT 2026

WA3QCD/WB5IRI QSO, first one weak but second one strong on Pine Bush NY SDR, this is the first time going back to the mid-1970s I have ever heard AM activity on the ham 15 meter band.
Big into SWDX late 70s through early 90s, then forgot about it and when I returned via SDRs it wasn't at all what I remembered, but I'll deal with it. Grumble, grumble. All SDRs acknowledged, nothing is from my own radio.

I did it last year, around 21.425MHz AM. That was either the Heavy Metal, or the AM, Rally. When 15M is rolling, look for AM´ers to do 21.400MHz - 21.445MHz. Trimtron, WA1HLR, is, or was, trying to get more AM activity up there. I say, GOOD!
The best two statements of advice that I've ever gotten are from my brother-in-law in the early 1990's. 1st one, when I bought a used '89 Olds Cutless, my bro-in-law said, "Congratulations!!! You've just bought a deficit!". The other, was on a work environment, " No matter where you go, it's going to be f***'ed -up!". No truer words have been spoken.

Honestly, I forgot 15 meters was even a ham band!
