https://www.rigpix.com/xiegu/g7250.htm     Yeah... If, they kept the quality of the now tried & true Xiegu G90, then this could be a nice game-changer in HF/6M rigs. The key-word is ¨IF¨.

The best two statements of advice that I've ever gotten are from my brother-in-law in the early 1990's. 1st one, when I bought a used '89 Olds Cutless, my bro-in-law said, "Congratulations!!! You've just bought a deficit!". The other, was on a work environment, " No matter where you go, it's going to be f***'ed -up!". No truer words have been spoken.

Ya, if they based design on the G90 and not the 6XXX series. Seems decent from the vids I've watched reviewing one however.

Yeah... Being the G7250 is SDR based, I asked on the Xiegu Q&A site if this new rig was capable of expanded audio bandwidth to like 4kHz, even 5khz. Well, here´s their RSVP:

¨Thank you for contacting us.

In SSB mode, the G7250’s maximum transmit bandwidth is 2.9 kHz. In SSB data mode, it is 3.0 kHz. So while the radio is SDR based, it cannot be opened up to 4 kHz or 5 kHz for eSSB transmission.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Best regards,
Lucas¨

So, good that they´ve responded within 24hrs on that one. Still, I´ll wait for a couple of years, to see what bugs come out of this new rig. When I bought the Xiegu G90, it was the early 2020 date-time, with the later software that included FM. So, will be watching.
