The 6.6 MHz band - 45 meter band is very busy this afternoon - 17:07 UTC 17:07 GMT.

Two French speaking OMs having an informal ragchew QSO - French chatter on frequency 6.678 MHz USB 6678kHz USB 6678 USB

At 1710 UTC, an aircraft weather broadcast (VOLMET) on 6676 kHz USB started up.  The pirates on 6678 kHz USB are causing severe QRM to the aeronautical station 2 kHz down in frequency.  6.676 MHz USB vs. 6.678 MHz USB.

I believe it is Sydney Radio - VKA930 callsign VKA-930.  No positive ID noted as I was tuned off-frequency at 17:10 UTC 1710z.

By 1712 UTC, the QRM has become even more severe.  Unable to ID the VOLMET broadcast due to the interference.

At 1713 UTC heard reference to Bangkok Radio - callsign HSD.
