My day of working on an antenna has been rewarded with the first pirate I've heard since moving to Las Vegas. I found Echoes of the 60s Girls Group Radio  on 6945 tonight playing, obviously, 60s girls groups, including (in no particular order)  Be My Baby, Da Du Run Run, He's a Rebel, He's So Fine, and Beachwood 4-5789, along with many others. I heard a station ID and instructions to send signal reports to either the HF Underground or a proton mail address. The signal is not strong at about an S4 overall, but it is audible and in the clear at 0250 UTC. Occasionally it will peak at s7. SIO: 333

As I said, I am listening in from Las Vegas Nevada, where I just got my old Pixel Pro-1B loop back up and running after replacing a lot of parts with DX Engineering stuff. I am currently using a new to me JRC NRD-515. Thanks for giving me my first pirate log in years. Its nice to hear something besides solar inverters for a change. Go go Pixel 1B!
Receivers: Too many

Just tuned in... signal is in the mud at S5 or below. Can barely hear. Hearing ionosondes and OTR over the signal.

0320 That's the Reason Why by The Velvelettes

Listening on my Yaesu FT-450D
