Well, well, well... What goes around, comes around. Thereīs even Boomers & Gen Xīers that are re-buying CDīs, since they regretting unloading their old collections for .MP3 media and Cloud Storage. Thereīs just something to having tangible media to keep on-hand, and having someone, or something else, store that for your is just asking for trouble. What happens when those Clouds demand a fee & paid subscription, for the A/V media that youīve uploaded to them? Thatīs already happening. With me??? Iīve got like 95% of my stored media still with me, 8-Tracks, LPīs, 45īs, Cassettes, Open-Reels, VHS & BETA Video, DVDīs, CDīs, and a bunch of 30-some year accumulated MiniDisc, recorded here. Yes... I do have WMA & .MP3, MPEG2 & 4, files here as well on hard drives and USB Thumbdrives, but itīs all with me. And, at least 1/2 of that has aired on radio somewhere through the years. We are on our own folks. I still say itīs best to keep what you have, while you still have it. You will regret it other-wise.  (Thanks for FWR the article Boomer!)
The best two statements of advice that I've ever gotten are from my brother-in-law in the early 1990's. 1st one, when I bought a used '89 Olds Cutless, my bro-in-law said, "Congratulations!!! You've just bought a deficit!". The other, was on a work environment, " No matter where you go, it's going to be f***'ed -up!". No truer words have been spoken.
