2204  Listening off and on for a while to just audible signal.  Signal came up with 'Night Prowler' - DJ Nicholi Graf, into sfx?, OM.

S5 - 6 in noisy conditions.  Most unintelligible.

Shazam App used to identify songs when needed.

Receivers / Antennas:

Tecsun S-2000 w/ a 100ft long-wire or MLA-30+ Active Loop Antenna (or the “internal” telescoping antenna). Used mostly for AM signals as SSB is difficult to tune on this receiver.

Grundig Satellit Millenium w/ a G5RV-Jr Antenna, an MLA-30+ Active Loop Antenna (or the radios’ “internal” telescoping antenna). - Used for AM and SSB signals. (Better sound and easier to tune SSB than the Tecsun.)

An eQSL to [email protected] is always welcome

Cheers!

I should have added that I was hearing Captain Morgan Shortwave on 6925kHz both a Grundig Satellit 800 Milkenium with a G5RV-Jr antenna and a Tecsun S-2000 with a long-wire antenna out on my back deck.

Fun show!
