I am camping at 8500' in the Inyo mountains near Death Valley. Am using the KX3 but the antenna is a 120 foot center fed dipole 30 feet up. Pretty good signal!

Hi Teotwaki, welcome to the forum. The Inyos are in the boonies!

Easy going music.

The sun is down here.  Lots of noise and consistent deep fades.

S7 to 8 on the west coast. Only fair copy though because of high static levels. The audio sounds very good through the noise. Thanks for the show.....BOR

Found this signal at 0510 with some really lovely music.  I caught the song name 'Bridges' but missed the artist, darn it.  Dance-ish tunes came after.  Clear ID and time check at 0513.  Good signal onto the isthmus tonight.  Thanks for the show!

SDR recorder catch as well. Signal of a S7-8 and audio really good but again getting hammered by the storms. Many ID's through out program. Same program details as fellow HFU loggers. Great to hear XFM/Redhat, been awhile. ;D

Hi Teotwaki, welcome to the forum. The Inyos are in the boonies!

Yes indeed! Right here https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=36.60997,-117.89824&ll=36.60997,-117.89824&ie=UTF8&z=12&om=1

I don't know if I could have heard XFM at home so I'm glad I caught them on my radio campout. I'll post up a few beacon logs tomorrow.
