Got working again a Chinese version of the Cobra 148GTL AM / SSB mobile CB. A DX champ on TX it isnīt, unlike itīs older version, but the receive is still hot on that. Paired with the Sirio Starduster, and I was hearing many pop IN / OUT quick signals. So, wondered if we were having a meteor shower last night. Turns out, yes... https://www.amsmeteors.org/calendar/   Must have peaked last night. I should have tried 6M, but we have a couple other showers this month to hear this. NEAT!!!!
The best two statements of advice that I've ever gotten are from my brother-in-law in the early 1990's. 1st one, when I bought a used '89 Olds Cutless, my bro-in-law said, "Congratulations!!! You've just bought a deficit!". The other, was on a work environment, " No matter where you go, it's going to be f***'ed -up!". No truer words have been spoken.
