Copied this V/D beacon until 2300utc...
The Ds win out over the three hours I listened to this beacon...
In fact many times the Ds were there solid and no Vs and then at certain
times I copied Vs and Ds  in those cases the Ds still were stronger...
There were no times that only Vs were heard and no Ds...

This is one of the coolest PHFER beacon yet....

Monitored D/V remotely in San Diego at 2200 UTC today (Sunday) using an FRG-8800 and a passive 6' whip matched to the coax feedline with a 15:1 Z-xfmr. D definitely had the better signal during fade ups with V only heard occasionally.  Good test and the inverted-V dipole is best for coast-to-coast transmission.
