PA copied this evening
« on: November 24, 2009, 0213 UTC »
Glad to report that PA has been in here all evening.  ;D
Fom 2300- npw which is 0145 or so. Last listen and she is still there.
Not very strong but with a fade up to very readable.
It was copied even though the static crashes were very heavy at times.
I'll try and catch this guy in the early morning and see what that time period brings
Nice to copy a 40 90 er from down here tonight

Ts870 and 66 ft random wire

Certainly is nice to hear PA is making it  out there in South ast area...
the operator drove 9 hour round trip to get PA back out in Arkansas.
Thats the dedication the High Frequency Beacon Society is composed of...

Here is a tid bit of info. the operator has yet to hr PA...it is skipping over him...
but in the summer months he hrs it often...

Nine hours is quite the dedication as you so stated.  :)
I was mildly surprised to hear it last evening but just the same
it was in there almost continually. Atmospherics have neen almost
summer like the last several evenings. Also contrary the antenna I
used picks up all kinds of garbage from house noise and I may
suggest that once I get a better more isolated antenna away
from the building etc I may be hearing a lot more than PA in
the general frequency area of the 49 ers

Cheers!
