Spain to Return to Shortwave?
« on: December 04, 2014, 2002 UTC »
You may want to keep an ear out for REE over the Christmas season. News reports are appearing in online Spanish news outlets this morning indicating there has been a reversal of the RTVE decision to close the shortwave service. More details in my blog.

Cool! Radio Espana was always one of my favorite broadcasters.

Now if the Swiss would get their finals out of their rectums and return to the air, I'd be a happy man.

According to what I read on Change.org, their programming will be aimed at the 1150 Spanish fishermen in international waters, including several boats fishing off the coast of South America.

Looks like there will be a few sports programs, and at least one program for Spanish seamen.

PS -- VK3BVW, you have a cool blog, but that tab that keeps sticking out from the right side of the screen makes it difficult to scroll through the stories / posts.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with the website. Perhaps you are trying to access the web version on a smart phone or iPad/tablet? If so, the site is responsive and should be able to recognise the device and switch to the mobile format....well, at least that's what it does on my iPhone. Which then means that the RH side tabs disappear. Problems will occur when you try to access the full website on a mobile device.
