S Beacon 8494.904

Solid signals even moving the "S" meter.
It has a nice steady signal with the recording attached.
No other interference even near this frequency at this time.
Only normal clicks and pops from urban living present.

A few notes on the "S" beacon.
I first noticed thew signal on the waterfall while checking out activity on 8500 kHz.
"S" started to fade a bit @ around @ 1200 utc
A bit more of a fade at 1230 utc but the signal is still quite copyable.
Signal pretty much gone at 1300 utc  (daylight)
"Daylight she comes signal wants to go."

Not mentioned on the initial posting is the very hard signal with key clicks. Even so this
signal is nice to listen to. Hard keying does make better copy at low signal levels.
Interesting beacon now on my list.
