That is indeed Radio Verdad, this is really the first low powered Central/South American station I've ever heard. Back in the Winter I heard it too, and at night I can go outside and still pick this station up. Amazing since it's such low power, I imagine either the antenna or the frequency chosen is excellent.

I ought to write them a reception report, that would be a pretty neat QSL card to get.

Here's the frequency, showing that Radio Verdad is its only occupant. I'm in New York and I sometimes hear Radio Verdad just with my Tecsum PL-660 with the telescopic antenna, even indoors sometimes.

Florida, always listening via my Tecsun PL-660 receiver.

I hear them regularly with a good to average signal. The last time I checked I thought they were running 5kW?

Pay no attention to their broadcast times, especially sign-off. They often run American preachers on a pay-for-play basis after official sign-off.

Another one to look for is Radio Cristal from the DR. 500 watts on 5010, but sometime they're a kHz. or two higher. They're usually weak, but if props are good, they're an easy catch in the early evenings.

Good luck.
