Catching XLR8 on 6950 USB playing Classical and Instrumental music at 0100 with a S6 and good audio. Now talking about his boy Norwood and talking about hamster stink. Into some hardcore rock now. XLR8 ID at 0131. Thanks for the show this evening my friend.

Just tuned into XLR8, S7 at peaks with the described heavy static.
Audio is good if it makes thru the static.

0218 UTC, ID"XLR8 " if my ears caught it right in all that static noise

Thanks for the show XLR8.

7/14/15, 0115-0200z approx.
6950 USB

My first catch of XLR8 with clear ID (not easy, IDs are much lower level than music audio).  Just happened to be outside with Palstar comparing an active antenna with short whip (built by Chris) to the RF Systems EMF antenna (very comparable!).

Wasn't watching the clock or taking notes, but heard Romeo Void "Girl in Trouble", Tom Petty, Midnight Oil "The Dead Heart", others.

Signal strongest before 0145z, peaking S9 with RF Systems EMF antenna strung along ground.  Good punchy audio too.  Well above usual summer noise until nearly 0200z.

Links to YouTube videos with off-air recordings for XLR8 from this broadcast.
