A new Bacon's Rebellion......
« on: October 28, 2015, 1314 UTC »
After the announcements yesterday by the World Health Organization regarding processed and red meats, I find myself compelled to call for a modern Bacon's Rebellion to take down these so called protectors of our health.

No Spam, Treet, bacon, burgers, ham, etc....... what kind of right thinking individual can stand for such slanders being raised against them? None, I would say.

Before you Jewish and Muslim guys say, "This isn't MY fight", I say "Hah!". No pastrami, no corned beef, no lamb, no goat, no dried beef products..... We're all in this together.

South Asians who follow Hinduism and Buddhism? No more dried smoked fish or fish sauces. It's not just bacon and hot dogs.

Let us rise against the World Health Organization and send their officials to the bottom of the Hudson to sleep with the fishes.

I thank you.

No bacon or Spam?  >:( First it's cigarettes, then it's salt, and more recently they hit us over the head with ubersized bottles of Sprite! This is unacceptable. I for one am sick and tired of getting porked. Next thing they'll be after is Cheez Whiz and white bread...damn. World Health Organization? Look what they did to poor Harry Chapin! What we need here is for pirate radio to rise up and denounce these ham hocks we call politicians and bloated government health officials. I returned to shortwave radio only a couple of years ago, but I've read about an earlier time when it was respectable to name your station the "Voice of Bacon" or "Radio Pigmeat International". I say it's time for them to return and bring back the good old days of enjoying guilt free victuals! For my part I will be certain to fry up a heaping plate of Fried Spam and eggs the next time I kick back and listen to "Breakfast With Boombox".

When I was young we had a county commissioner who ran under the name of "Lard". I don't think anyone outside of his family knew his real name? I knew him from my birth until he died a few years back. All I ever heard him called was Lard.

It was a glorious decade when the county was presided over by the troika of Lard, Peachie, and Sweat.

After so many years of ruining DXer's health with fatty, cholesterol laden broadcasts, Radio Pigmeat International, in consultation with Ms.Obama, has decided to announce its new sponsor:

For all the old timer pirate ops, here is the perfect use for that pile of unissued paper QSL cards.  Run those cards through the paper shredder, mix with some of that matchmeat for a savory meatloaf.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm!

As most of you may know, L Cee was formerly the Food Editor for the old Free Radio Network, the FRN, now superseded by HFU. He can turn any unfortunate post into an opportunity to make mighty good grub.

Thanks for the recipe tip, L Cee!
