2103 - music, Ladio?
2104 - music, Big Iron
2108 - music, Love Me As Though There Were No Tomorrow
2110 - transmitter cut out momentarily
2111 - British Comedy Show
2112 - Phylis Diller comedy act - great one liners
2114 - signal building - S9+20
2125 - music, Dirty Deeds (AC/DC)
2128 - music
2130 - music cut out suddenly then a recording of a ham transmission between KB7LNR working QRP
2132 - music returned
2133 - ham radio transmissions again
2134 - music medley leading into The Devil That Went Down To Georgia
2137 - audio level dropping significantly but carrier still very strong
2138 - gone now

Great sounding station whoever it was - almost like they were testing the transmitter output, audio levels and inputs.

Thanks THX1138 for the input. I continued to monitor your signal 2146-2212 tuning to LSB. Propagation must have been changing since your sigs varied a lot.

2142 - peaking S2
2148 - S8 but peaking to S9+10
2212 - signal dropped down to S4

Please QSL and Happy Holidays!

2129 Rock music just popped in

Indistinct talk alternating with music (some incomplete).

Got better here after about 2145. and went to dual side band at some point.

S6 and clear with boogie woogie at 2152.

Fair on peaks to inaudible at bottom

Tuned in at 2135utc, hear bits of music under heavy noise from rain storms, R8 & dipole.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

thanks for the reception reports but im just testing different transmission modes.
I am currently testing DSB-SC mode at 25 watts PEP - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-sideband_suppressed-carrier_transmission
the only issue I see is most SSB filters in standard receivers appear to cut off audio frequencies below 200Hz ad above 2.5Khz though the transmit audio range here is much lower and higher than that.
this of course is customizable through the use of an SDR.
the easier way to tune is by "zero beating" on DSB receive mode then switching to choice of LSB/USB depending which side is free from any interference and adjusting the SSB filter for 20Hz to 5Khz.
