Great work, Chris, and extremely useful.

The fact that you have included 7 day tracking for K should be immensely helpful in predicting when there might be good props from the higher latitudes at LF; I have only been using the 3 day plot.

Low Kp is necessary for good props at LF.  Low AND steady low Kp for a couple of days seems to really help in props from the higher latitudes.  My best logging nights for high latitude Canadians were on 24-25 November, and this really jumps out in the 7 day K and 30 day A plots, and least while these are current...

Even an foF2 plot for Alpena, Michigan...

Just browsing those tables, the MUF seems to drop further, the farther north you are (at least currently)...

Lately, it's really incredible how quickly signals disappear as the foF2 drops.

A few months ago, there seemed to be slower gentler crashes, and it was not unusual to see some form of recovery to a degree at a later time.

It's been "now you hear me, now you don't", and that's it.

I really never got into using such things but you have peaked my interest and seeing where we have no sunspots that want to help us these days, with weak signals being the call of the day I guess it is about time for me to learn.
