Low 11 Meter Test - KROW -25.925
« on: February 14, 2016, 2115 UTC »
I would like to thank everyone who attempted to tune into my 41 Meter test the other night.

Obviously, it was not very successful.

Today, with the upper 11 meter propagation doing well, we would like to attempt another Test around 25.925.

Most likely, we will try in USB first, and possibly AM later.

If possible, please check the frequency (or the general area) throughout the afternoon and post any reception reports on the HFU and/or any other Radio sites that show an interest to alternative broadcasting.

We appreciate the SWL hobbyists

I have a very weak signal at 2132, sounds like someone talking over or with music.

About S4 here @ 2138 with female chanting, crow caws, and male occasionally speaking in a heavily processed, deep voice.
2141 - male voice with a slow 'K   R   O   W', followed by crow caws, then mention of test broadcast, HF Underground, and ID again.
Audio recording available, if interested.

Thank you all for the reports on the first test.

Monitoring my own signal, it seems I may have some RF in the Audio... but that could also be receiver front end overload.

Refmo, I would be interested in hearing a recording, if possible, please send it to KROWHF@gmail.com.

I will be attempting it again a bit later, possibly in AM, but USB is the better bang for the buck.

I will reply to the thread when it will happen.

Thank you for the support.
