In a few weeks time the NZ Radio DX League has a convention gathering of DX hobbyists at Moeraki, a small fishing village on the East Coast of the South Island, 48 miles north of Dunedin.
We hope that some North American operators may be transmitting in their late evening/early morning during the Convention period - Friday 18 March from 0500 UTC through to Sunday 20 March at 2100 UTC.
Previously we have received North American-based stations in the 6900-7000kHz range between 0500 and 0900 UTC, that is after midnight Eastern Standard Time.
We will be monitoring for stations on our Friday, Saturday and Sunday - equivalent to late Thursday, Friday and Saturday night your time.
If any operator is planning to transmit at this time please contact me off list - bryan(a)radiodx.com
Grateful thanks,
Bryan Clark
