WWRB 5050 kHz at 0247z 4/14/16

WWRB blasting in on 5050 kHz with talk by the station manager, ongoing lecture about Airplanes, Pirate Radio, and periodic pitches to buy airtime. Jazz music was also observed.

Signal is S9 +20 and recent broadcasts have been much more interesting to listen to than the constant Brother Stair relays of days past.

Listening in Southern New York with a Tecsun PL-660 shortwave receiver, telescopic antenna only.

0301 Tuned over out of curiosity, heard OM talk about some plane so dirty that he worried about catching AIDS. What decade is this program from?
0306 OM is inviting pirate broadcasters to join something on Friday nights called "Pirate's Cove." Specifically name-checked Wolverine Radio and Crystal Ship.
