I agree it was more than likely XLR8...
I say that based on:
A] the music
B] the fact that within minutes of WDDR being reported, they graciously went off air to not compete for listeners...

WDDR turned out to be a BIG thread for a weeknight broadcast. I know I put the word out on all hailing channels & many of the followers on my page & others logged the station...

Whoever it was, you're a class act in my book...  8)

Heard from 2344 here on the SDR recording, with a mostly SIO 322 signal. I agree that the had an XLR8 sound.

Also showed up here at good level in an SDR Recording.  I cannot find an ID in the file.  Went off at 0024z.
