North Korea On Shortwave
« on: July 21, 2016, 2326 UTC »
I have logged 28 or 29 of North Korea's various shortwave signals from my location, many of them at very listenable levels. They are most listenable and strongest in the late night hours, but here is a short "band scan" of shortwave signals broadcasting from North Korea heard rural central Alaska on July 20, 2016 at 1654UTC while using a Tecsun PL880, 225 foot long wire and EmTech ZM2 Tuner

In the order in which they are seen in the video:
KCBS Pyongyang on 6100khz, 9665khz and 11680 in Korean, all targeting Korea.

The Voice of Korea in Russian on 9435khz targeting Europe, 11710khz targeting Latin America and 13760 targeting Europe

PBS-The Pyongyang Broadcasting System/Pyongyang Pansong on 6400khz in Korean targeting the Far East.
