Yes & no. On 1080, I can hear KRLD. I prefer to hear WNWI from Chicago, but not always.
The more interesting thing is when I can hear the U.S. east coast during the day... when the antenna is N-S. Which is odd. Have ~30 dB gain difference from the front-side. Which means, is the east coast coming in via skywave or a whole lot of ground wave? Unfortunately, with only one antenna, impossible to tell, but I'd bet on some sort of skywave.
