This one used to be an easy catch for me, but for the past year it's been impossible to hear due to strong local noise that runs from roughly 6700 to 6800. It started about the time a old hippies finished renovating a former lumber barons old palazzo down the hill. Hmmm.... I wonder what could be causing this one? Oh well.

They're an entertaining bunch. They've got an old upright piano on the front porch that stays out there year round, and will serenade the neighbors. As they're stuck in one of the same historical district houses of horror as I am, the local history blue hairs called them in when people complained. They hippies pointed to an early 20th cen. photo of family gathered around a piano on the porch of the old pile two doors down. Case closed, Piano Playing Porch Hippies 1, Blue Haired Old Busybodies 0.

What really amazes me is the thing stays in tune. I'm wondering if one may be a piano tuner? I enjoy the music.

It's bit a bit weaker than usual here when I tune in during the early evening, and always gone when I try in the morning, as the foF2 value is too low then. It's unfortunate OTR isn't on in the daytime, when NVIS would offer the chance to hear it.
