AWR via Moosbrunn on the R5000
« on: March 18, 2017, 1055 UTC »
Yesterday, I fired up the old Kenwood R5000 receiver for the first time in a long time, to ensure that it was still going....and it was!

9630   AUSTRIA. AWR - Moosbrunn. Hausa service to CAf at 0510 with some wonderful choral African chanting, very good signal. Yay! The R5000 still works OK!

I made a YouTube clip of the final announcements of this broadcast:  https://youtu.be/DWLeulf7qPY
