8.047MHz unident Asian aviation traffic...

For the past few days I have been monitoring what appears to be Indonesian aviation traffic on 8.047MHz USB with Selcal check tones and aircraft giving position reports. The reports are given in English with what appears to be a heavy Indonesian accent.

Have checked the MWARA & RDARA frequencies lists but find no mention at all of 8.047MHz in the Asia/Pacific region, even checked ICAO regional HF frequency data base with zero result.

Could this possibly be Military or an Asian domestic carrier company frequency?  I don't think they would give Selcal checks on a company frequency though, military maybe?

Any ideas from our esteemed aviation monitoring experts?

A resident aviation buff down in Sydney who I talk with on amateur radio suggests that it's the Indonesian Military and it may be a "Special Operations" frequency...

Any suggests or views on this one?

Special Ops using SELCAL?  Interesting. 

They are in the fixed/mobile band where mysteries abound...and if you're not finding the frequency on any lists online, chances are its military.  Not sure why they're using English though?

Yes, a mystery that one eh?  Maybe military covert training, maybe testing Selcal?  Heard the Selcal check, actually two of them quite clear.

A lot of Asian countries run to their own rules on HF, especially Indonesia and Burma (Myanmah).

Nothing heard on that frequency for three days now suggesting a one off operation?
