Tuned in at 0100utc, weak carrier, barely hear bits of audio in am mode under heavy static, blue sky here but storms up in Wisconsin, down in central Illinois and over in northern Indiana, R-2000 & dipole.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. williamhassig@yahoo.com
