I've released version 5.0.0 of DX ToolBox, for Windows (XP through 10) and macOS (10.6 through 10.13). This version has quite a few major additions:
1. Logbook: There's a logbook built into DX ToolBox now. The logbook is tightly integrated to the built-in SWBC schedule. You can right click on an entry in the schedule to directly log it, without having to do lots of extra typing.
2. Improvements to the SWBC schedule: You can right click on entries not only to log them, but to see additional times or frequencies for that station, other broadcasts from that country, in that language, to that target, as well as to see other stations that might be on that frequency. You can also search on two fields, such as country and language, at the same time. In addition to seeing all transmissions, or just those on right now. In other words, it makes it an even more powerful tool for assisting with your SWL/DXing efforts.
3. Beacons: There's a brand new window just for NDBs and other beacons. This window features a "fuzzy" search. Select the frequency you're listening to, enter in a partial callsign, and you'll get a list of possible beacons. It's smart enough to look at both the center frequency as well as the two sidebands. There is also a new window just for logging beacons, and a map where you can see your logged beacons.
