Hearing it on KFS SDR  freq. 8000.7  time 1442 utc.
One crying dash per sec. If I remember correctly this beacon is less then 10mw...
The other freq. was around 7955 khz .

Which kiwi there? The four of them have different antennas.  Omni/NW/SW/SE

Now this beacon is truly an unknown...I think  someone mentioned years about that it was 10 Mw or less.
My guess is it has been off the air for some time.  I have never logged it at night time.  It probably is just a solar day time beacon.
I haven't heard the 6700.3 beacon in the shack for a number of years.  It used to be common for me to hear it.  I hear it on the KFS Omni ant.
The last time I heard Rainy I was hiking many years ago and heard it on a little portable receiver.  Again it comes into the KFS sdr real well.

I don't think many people listen for the beacons like they use to.
