I've listened to recordings of those messages from 6877 kHz.  They're unnerving, mostly because of the dry, detached tone.  The vocal delivery is little different from NOAA weather or aviation/maritime weather transmissions, other than being delivered by human voices rather than computer voices.  Somehow that makes the message even more ominous, hearing a human instructing Libyan military personnel to abandon their posts with the same detachment as if they were saying in the same breath "and tomorrow will be cool and sunny.  Hope you're still alive to enjoy it."
