Radio Clube do Para?
« on: November 11, 2018, 0333 UTC »
on 4885 KHZ 03:17 UTC 11 Nov 18 in Portuguese  out of Belem in Brazil
or
Radio Difusora Acreana transmitting out of Rio Branco in Brazil.

O/M with what sounded like some political speech.   No music at all thru 03:33 UTC.  Couldn't snag a station ID and not familiar with either station's format as I've never picked them up before.  Muddy fidelity thru a moderately week signal.

I've never logged Radio Difusora Acreana, but I can hear Radio Clube do Para pretty regularly at night or early morning here, and that station is almost always playing music rather than talk.

Clube do Para is strong here tonight playing Frankito Lopes  eu te amo amor  very nice signal

Positive Id at 628 . They run the same id loop each time , you'll recognize "Kilohertz " and at the end "Clube do Para

If you heard what sounded like a political speech , most likely CDP

I have always had very good luck receiving Clube do Para during east coast evening hours.  I was not positive I received them them the first time I heard it so I checked their webpage: https://www.radioclubedopara.com.br.  It was CDP, the radio is several seconds ahead of the online stream.

They will also broadcast the Brasiliero on weekends, Brazil's football league.
Tecsun H501x (broadcast received on this unless noted), Zenith T/O G500, Zenith T/O Royal 7000, Emerson AR-176, Zenith 8S154, T/O 7G605 (Bomber), Tecsun PL-600, Tecsun PL-880, Zenith 5S320, Realistic DX 160 using 40 feet of copper wire.  With apologies to Senator Gramm for his thoughts on firearms, "I have more radios than I need but not as many as I want."
QTH:  Durham, Connecticut (rural setting, 15 miles north of Long Island Sound)

Outstanding reception tonight 11/13/18  at 315z   Sinpo 43444   The 3 is for the mil radar swisher from 4885 to 4910

playing a mix of upbeat Latin rhythms along with slower tempos , I'm guessing dealing with love loss.
Widespread use of accordion, some being combined with Caribbean rap ( my term),
