For the second day running, the very rare Radio Kahuzi has been heard via various receivers on the Kiwi
SDR network. Frequency is 6210.20, with some interference from maritime talkers which could require use
of LSB to hear clearly. The station has been on the air with extended schedule -- it is based in Bukavu, DRC.
Heard with live programming from studio, with male announcer, sounds like he has been taking phone calls
from listeners across the African region. Sign off is with a special musical piece and an ID musical IS specific
to the station. Sign off on 2 January was approximately 1811 UTC, the previous day was 1747 UTC.
