1028 I took a look at the waterfall first thing this morning, and saw the strong signal on 6990 LSB - SIO 555 for sure.

Looks like the transmission began at 0933 !! Although with a much weaker signal then.

Off at 1051 UTC. Wish I knew what he was saying, and why  ;D

I wonder if its related to the government shutdown...these recent logs seem to be the first time these guys have been heard...maybe they've been on for a while and have simply been lost in the fog of QRM that is 43 meters when the band is really open?
