Something different this time. I recorded with the AFE822x and 500 ft NE beverage as usual. I also recorded with the AirSpy HF+ Discovery and 950 ft LoG (Loop on Ground).
Some notes:
Lots of storms last night, both local and DX. The recordings ended at the same time, but started earlier with the Discovery/LoG, my intent was not a true comparison but just a general how do these two antennas/radios compare? While the Discovery is the better SDR, I think this is more a test of the antennas.
The results are somewhat all over the place. One confounding factor is that reception of a DGPS station is dependent on two things: the station coming in, and another station NOT coming in. The two antennas likely have different patterns. This may be a more interesting test on a quiet night.
