Caught what appeared to be E17 tuning and loading, Dead carrier started low (S-2), then came up gradually with the unmistakable tune-and-load- dips and peaks until nearly pinning the meter.

Some QSB and the only propagation that night in that band was from southern coastal California. Maybe some of our California listeners could get an RDF?
