Rip was openly gay when it was still seen as a bad thing. Watching Rip tear into the women on "The 1.98$ Beauty Contest" was a highlight of the week. He was the top prop comic of his time, which is why Carrot Top stole his act. There should be a law against Carrot Top.

Say "Hello" to W.C. Fields and Jack Benny in Prop Comic Heaven, Rip. Put up a sign saying "No Carrot Top Allowed."
