Cardinal Components to discontinue programmable oscillators

This came in today from Digikey. https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/0/CPPC1-HT7PP-ND  It appears they are EOL'ing their entire through-hole line.

Epson has a similar product that is still in production.  https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/0/SGR-8002DB-SHB-ND

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Might indeed be worth checking out, especially if Digikey can do the programming on their end. Thus far, the only thing that I don't like is the +/-50PPM rating, as I'd want something to be a bit tighter in FREQ tolerance. Thanks for the heads-up!

50ppm is about normal for those parts over their entire temperature range.  Most low powers are quite off frequency anyway, using surplus crystals and the like.  For the ultimate in precision, you could always go GPS, or rubidium  8)

Yes saw that and I do use them and have a programmer. The programmed parts are cheaper than blanks, good you can program them twice!

digikey does program them, and has 'em to you in 3 days. Cost is $4 including programming.
