Deoxit recommendation
« on: April 29, 2020, 1503 UTC »
Looks like I'm going to have to clean up the contacts on the Yaesu FRG-7700 so I went online to order Deoxit.  I was surprised at the number of different variations there are of that stuff.   Any recommendations as to which Deoxit works best for this application?
Thanks,
Don

If the contacts are silver, and likely blackened aka silver oxide, silver oxide is almost as conductive as polished silver. I don't know what deoxit you need, but you don't want something soaking into the wafers making them conductive. Tuner lube and the like has ruined many a radio in that manner.
