Thanks for broadcast, yet again.  Always amazed at how fast reception comes up once I begin to receive.

2124 Music but not strong enough to ID yet
2131 "I Shot the Sheriff" Eric Clapton
2134 Disco/Latin Beat song
2135 "This is The Vault" to "Quando, Quando, Quando" Engelbert Humperdinck
2139 "Son of a Preacher Man" Dusty Springfield
2141 ID to "Beautiful Noise" Neil Diamond. This song will always remind me of a concert and incident there in August 1976.  Saw him tour the Beautiful Noise album at Forest Hills Country Club (then US Open site), Queens NYC performing on the main tennis court.  Someone sitting near me made up a very clever poster which read: "Serenade us with Beautiful Noise on this Hot August Night (three of his albums).  Neil noticed sign and had the person come up on stage so he could sign poster.
2148 "Don't Bring Me Down" ELO

My panadapter shows the AM carrier is at 6985. Been listening for an hour now when he was playing talking heads. Unidentified, I think they did ID but I lost it in the fading.

Hello, welcome to the board both of you.  If you were hearing the same broadcast originating on 6985, it is the European Pirate - "The Vault".  See loggings under that section of the board for European Pirates.

Thank you for the kind welcome! I actually posted this at 2248, but second guessed myself, got cold feet and removed it. I figured maybe I should wait to get an ID. Next time I'll go ahead. Thanks for IDing the station, I'll look into it as you suggest. Best regards!
