Unid 6925 USB 2255z
« on: October 26, 2012, 2306 UTC »
Just caught a short news story about killers eating their victims, seemed to go off in mid-story. Soylent Green isn't about the ecology.      Nice signal S-5 with some static off at 2258z.

Heard earlier around 2252z but too much interference from SSTV and another station. Sounded like several stations temporarily testing and then all 3 stations disappeared around 2258z.

2317z  - Some type of emergency being reported. Space experts consulted about Earth bound object with high radiation concerns
2318z - Newsman, John Quinn from Washington reporting
2322z  -radio stations across the US providing updated info pertaining to mass murders committed by...(another station started broadcasting music causing interference)

Signal is weak to strong with static interference, another broadcast station is  interfering as well as chatter communications from higher up the band.

Recorder Catch on 6925USB

2251 - 2258UTC
An SSTV and the news report started up at virtually the same time.  Details as myteaquinn reported, although this reception was garbled up by some local noise.  Interestingly, MMSSTV did not cap this live, but did from the recording replay.  Scottie 1

2314 - 2323UTC
Seemed to be a continuation or replay of the previous show.

Both around S7 here, and thanks!
