Thanks for the ID on the Algerian on 531 Khz., Allen. It's been the strongest signal at the bottom of the band here for a good two weeks after the sun goes down.

That's the first transatlantic I've ever logged on a car radio this far inland,400 miles. I wonder what kind of power they're using?

Hi there

Congrats on hearing Algeria on 531. Their signal was very strong here in Newfoundland last night .

If correct their power output is listed at 600 kilowatts. They  seem to be stronger on 531 lately. Their parallel on 549 had been the stronger here in quite a while before.
