...de-Christmased the house. And I always find myself on the roof daydreaming about antennas.

People in La Mesa, CA and the Mount Helix area (very tony), STILL have lights on as of last night.

12 days of Christmas? Fuck that - make it 24! Or 36. Or an entire year!

A business accross the street still has xmas lights going... & the owner is Asian, though yes I realize there are Asian christians. Still I think it's tacky to rip 'em down on the 26th. Have a heart, people.

There's a little town near me that puts their Xmas lights up in November and takes them down in May. I understand it's been that way for over 30 years.

For a number of years they left them up year round.

The lights are pretty and have nothing to do with Christmas when you think about it.

Peace!

When you live in dreary, drippy, grey weather country, Christmas lights left up for an extra 2-3 weeks aren't that bad.  They brighten up the place.  I have some neighbors that usually leave them up until near the end of January.  They take down the Santas and other Christmas decorations, but leave the lights up for a while.

+ GE SRIII, PR-D5 & TRF on MW.
The usual Realistic culprits on SW (and a Panasonic).
