I can hear Firedrake, and there seems to be another station on frequency as well, presumably whoever they are jamming.

Firedrake is jammng Sound of Hope on this freq.  SOH is now listed as operating this freq and apparently moved to this one a couple weeks ago.

Is it just me, Token, or does Firedrake seem to be more active these days?

You know, this might provide a second explanation for the person who heard what they thought was an Asian station, but then assumed must have been the annoying WWCR spur on 6970 the other week.  I forget who exactly that was (Maryland Chris? or was it Farley here in the Midwest?)  Whoever it was, maybe you actually *did* hear Sound of Hope or Firedrake instead of the nasty spur.  That'd explain the fluttery, taking-a-tortured-path sound you described.

Hearing SOH on 6280khz right now (2217z) in Mandarin.  Hearing a wwcr spur on 6970.  Certainly could have been SOH that he was hearing.
