Excellent reception, from Santa Maria di Galeria (Vatican Radio's home base).  Somalian service.


1406 Presumed news report by OM, English words for Latin American and Taiwan heard in transmission.  Could be about recent decision of Nicaragua breaking diplomatic ties with Taiwan.
1410 OM in English giving first hand account of African news but obscured by OM talking over him with Somalian translation.
1418 Lost transmission in noise.
1430 Reception returns with fading, peaks very good - 2 OM's in discussuin

Great signal this morning  @ 1405 UTC on the aforementioned 21470 khz.   OM hosting program in Somali with interview with YM.
