military transmission on 7162 LSB?
« on: March 05, 2026, 2009 UTC »
Does anyone know what mode this might be?
It looks like a multi-tone digital signal with many parallel carriers in the waterfall.
Could it be some kind of military HF data transmission?

This is NATO Forces Link-11, or possibly Link-22 in Link-11 backwards compatibility mode.

The signal is in USB, not LSB, and to be properly tuned you would be on 7159 kHz, USB.
