I know of WADO 1280 in NY, it has been the TUDN Spanish language sports affiliate for MLB network broadcast and Spanish language flagship for the NY Yankees.  I believe they are the lone terrestrial radio station for soccer in NYC.  Their signal direction mainly entertains the angry pescadors in the North Atlantic.  Maybe that's what they are angry about, having to listen to yet another Los Blancos Champions League triumph 🤣 .

Ya know... When you consider that just one of these stations could have sold for $60M in a #1 and #2 rated market, 18 stations for that much sounds like one hell of a deal.
“I am often asked how radio works. Well, you see, wire telegraphy
is like a very long cat. You yank his tail in New York and he
meows in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? Now, radio is
exactly the same, except that there is no cat.”
-Attributed to Albert Einstein, but I ripped it from the latest Splatter .PDF March 2025 issue.

Yet one more media giant (CBS, Radio Disney, and others previously) getting out of radio. Not exactly a vote of confidence for the medium, is it.
An AM radio Boombox DXer.
+ GE SRIII, PR-D5 & TRF on MW.
The usual Realistic culprits on SW (and a Panasonic).
