Brownie Radio 6955 USB 0131 UTC 20 JUL 2022
« on: July 20, 2022, 0133 UTC »
0131 UTC Seems to be a show of old shortwave Interval Signals  8)
Signal is mostly above the noise
0135 UTC Sounds like a YL singing in an UNID language
0139 UTC Another song now but it didn't last
0140 UTC OFF or faded deep?
Here's a link to my recording of the show from 0131-0140 UTC....anybody want to claim this one?   :)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1f2rH00lBz-rrQ2E0vqFPTebDTwyyp8OS/view?usp=sharing
0147 UTC Back on again (or fading back in) with unid music at or below the high noise level
0154 UTC Still have music playing, but no clue even what genre!
0158 UTC OM speaking now, but tough copy
0211 UTC OM again....missed the first word, but the second one was "Radio"  :), into "Free Bird"-Lynyrd Skynyrd
0224 UTC OM DJ chat but no joy on the copy....noise level is just too high this evening
Thanks for the ID in the thread! Sure has been a long time since I've heard Brownie Radio!
0233 UTC Off or totally faded out

Great hearing you again Brownie Radio! Listening back on the second part of my recording and at 0211 UTC a clear Brownie Radio ID by OM was heard  8)

0135 UTC: Sounds like a jumble of voices. Weak S5 signal on a S3 noise night.
0158 UTC: Seemed like an ID was given but really bad conditions and I couldn't catch it. Perhaps on the recording.
0207 UTC: Mentions of HF Underground. "either one works for me". Not sure what that refers to.
0210 UTC: Gave his ID again. "Unid Radio"??????????

Do any of you remember WLIS "We Love Interval Signals".

I wonder if it's someone running one of their old shows?

Yes, indeed I do Mr. Pigmeat! I do not believe this is one of those shows though. I even have a couple of eQSL's for those old shows! Sadly, I can no longer match up those 1980's Interval Signals with the stations as in the old days! Not many of them anyway...

Freebird heard clearly, but not extremely loud. Good, solid signal anyway. Thanks a lot for the show tonight.

The conditions are bad tonight, not your fault. Appreciate the broadcast thanks.
So you said N  I  E, I thought you said N  I  D. Hence my guess of Unid Radio.
