Thanks for the show!

VG signal here with Steppenwolf & The Troggs. Clear IDs. Nice chance to hear a Europirate with a really good signal...or deep into NA.
Thanks for the show!

Nice signal, no headphones necessary. Tuned in to REO Speedwagon "Keep on Loving You" at 2039, then into a song that I don't know.
Thanks much for the show!

I also had a weak carrier on 6955, around 0330. I assume it was the Radio Jackie relay, but no audio was making it here.

Fair signal in kinda rough conditions, especially with pescador QRM from 6925U. Clash "Should I Stay or Should I Go" at tune in, then OM & YL computer IDs, and Heart "Barracuda"
My 1st time for this one, too.
Thanks for the show!

Tuned in too late. I have some voice coming through on at least one of the ops (I guess probably BOR, considering that I've heard him before). Not sure if anything is coming through from Chamberpot, unfortunately.
Thanks!

Excellent S9 sig at 0154 with Van Halen "Unchained." Now The Who "I'm Free"
Thanks for the show!

Very strong here. No IDs, but a lot of talk about Israel building unwalled towns & this will lead to WWIII, so I assume this is the same station.
Thanks for the show!

Listening here since 0154, but there's a lot of noise on the bands. Prob around an S6 signal in S7 noise peaks. Great to hear again--I think it's probably been 10 years since I last heard PIR. Thanks for the show

Faster CW, then into an instrumental song, then some repeating audio clips from a fashion makeover TV show. Into more instrumental music. Solid S8/S9 here
Thanks for the show!

Tuned in at 0027. QRM from SSB voice stations (pescadores?), but could clearly hear DJ Formaldehyde & Miss Synth talking about bootlegs, microphones, & QSLs on fade-ups.
Thanks much for the show!

TUned in to "I Only Have Eyes for You" at 0126. Fading, but peaks are a bit over S9. Now "I'd Rather Be Loved by You" at 0130.

Great to hear that Rick escaped from the Nazis and collaborators.

Thanks for the show!

Just tuned through the band & heard nice signals on 6935 USB & 6950 AM. Figured out that they were both Northwoods & came to HFU. 6935 is a bit better here. Started recording at 0107 with Jack Pine Savage talking a little & into "Nationwide" by ZZ Top. Now intro for AC/DC

Thanks much for the show!

North American Shortwave Pirate / Re: Australasian Pirate Radio Totse
« on: September 02, 2013, 1107 UTC »
Tuned in at 1042. Some signal here. Could hear some vocals with vibrato that with the weak signal & static, sounded to me like Iron Maiden or some band in that realm. Then hammered by a QSO by the US shrimpers (talking about how Joel's phone service is unreliable at his new apartment, red vs. white shrimp, the price of shrimp, etc.). During this time, I could hear what sounded like some intricate flute, kind of like Irish folk music.

My 1st time to actually hear Radio Totse. I left the radio on a few weeks ago & caught a pretty nice SSTV image, but the signal this morning didn't seem to be that strong.

Thanks for the show!
