00:56 Music Brass Monkey, heavy noise but signal getting much better

32
One was translated this afternoon, "Al Fansome, change your drawers."

That wasn’t a signal from deep space that was a signal from deep woods from someone playing Boris The Sprinkler on a Grenade with a wire thrown up a tree.

Hearing them here with a very good s9 signal at 0024utc

Huh? / Re: But will it pick up WABC in the Mt Kisco A&P ?

I think Mal rebuilt one but it only received Captain Ron broadcasting from his cardboard box outside Fansome’s trailer behind the A&P.

Off topic, whatever became of Capt. Ron? He, Andy Yoder, and I appeared on a regional radio show to talk Pirate Radio two nights before 9/11. I saw him logged in to the FRN a couple of times later on, then he was gone.

Fansome's constant nonsense about penguins and tire pressure probably drove him off

I haven’t heard from him in years. We used to trade emails, if you are out there Ron, let us know. I’ll try some of my old email addresses and see if I get an answer,

Did Jay, Al Weiner, and Mal ever figure that one out?

I think Mal rebuilt one but it only received Captain Ron broadcasting from his cardboard box outside Fansome’s trailer behind the A&P.

There was someone I heard about who hooked into a guardrail for a SW tx and was well heard, but I don't recall who it was. That RF has to go somewhere.

I remember hearing something about that too.
Captain Ganja maybe ?
