Thanks Chris....being severely CW challenged here makes for some iffy postings, not to mention I'm in totally unfamiliar territory as regards utilities on the shortwave bands. The slow CW I heard and transcribed as "PIRATE" could certainly have been "PARIS"...guess I need one of those PC programs to do the bulk work of decoding

I'm hearing an S5 very slow speed CW station here since 2340 UTC....even at that slow pace, I was only able to write down and decode a couple of words....STATIONS and PIRATE....not sure what this is, but it switched to a higher speed a bit after 2347 UTC...hmmm
0107 UTC Just tune in again and the CW is still going strong....
0110 UTC OFF abruptly
By all means move this posting to wherever it belongs!

Not a problem RAFMAN! I copied everybodies SSTV scans until I can run my recording through MMSSTV
In fact, that chipmunk picture will hang proudly on my radio room wall
